X.A) Discussion and Potential Action Item: Staff recommends that the Board of Directors: 1. Authorize the CEO to negotiate a Letter of Intent (LOI) (in the form attached to the Memo from Tom Bakaly) and accompanying term sheet with MarVentures/Continental, ESL/NexCore and Sunrise for a ground lease with respect to development of the District's Healthy Living Campus located at 514 Prospect Avenue, Redondo Beach, in the priority recommended by the Advisory Working Group. 2. Authorize the CEO to execute a Letter of Intent and accompanying term sheet with one of the developers listed in 1 above (MarVentures/Continental, ESL/NexCore or Sunrise) who, in the judgment of the CEO after considering the input from the Advisory Working Group and the Board, offers the most favorable terms to the District and the communities it reserves consistent with the criteria for selection. 3. Direct staff to return with an update on the LOI and term sheet at the Board's January meeting.
