BCHD's $1.8M BIKE PATH IS EXTRAORDINARILY EXPENSIVE
At over $4000 per foot, BCHD's failed bike path project is more costly that the addition of a single freeway lane according to the California Policy Council.

BCHD IS IN MATERIAL DEFAULT OF ITS MEASURE M FUNDING
BCHD received the funding by misrepresenting that it had a project from Prospect down Diamond down Flagler to Beryl, BCHD had no such project. BCHD was granted $1.8M for 1200-feet and ultimately used 100% of the funding on 33% of the project. As of recent Measure M audit inquiries, BCHD had no valid amendment in place at the time construction started.
