BCHD needs new, competent leadership. The Board and its members have no significant experience in $250M+ projects or development, as has been witnessed by the repeated missteps of the Board. The Board and staff cut one of the worst deals imaginable to give away 3 acres of land to a private developer for 95 years. The $1.5M lease payment from PMB is more than fully offset by BCHD unfunded $1.57M rent payments for 91% non-resident benefit for allcove and for 95% non-resident benefit for PACE.
